RADIATION ONCOLOGY - Philadelphia
Early Registration Ends October 31st, 2012
Whether the services are billed by a hospital, physician practice or freestanding radiation treatment center, this session will offer valuable information to cope with the challenges of documenting and charging for radiation oncology services in 2013.
Attendees will receive an overview of specific medical necessity risk areas, with a focus on innovative techniques and high-end technology such as IMRT, IGRT, brachytherapy, SRS and SBRT. This session will also address coding for all services performed and documented in a radiation center, changes in bundling requirements affecting reimbursement for radiation oncology procedures and capturing charges for services that may be described by surgical or other codes outside the radiation oncology code series.
This seminar is ideal for anyone involved in coding or responsible for charge capture in a radiation oncology practice, freestanding treatment center or hospital radiation therapy department. Each participant will receive a copy of CSI’s Navigator® for Radiation Oncology, a comprehensive reference manual.
