INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY PROCEDURES - Philadelphia

This session will give coding and billing professionals the information they need to submit accurate claims for interventional radiology services in 2013.  Attendees should have a working knowledge of interventional coding, as this session is not designed to teach the basics, but rather to update and fine-tune attendees’ interventional coding skills.  The speaker will review all of the procedure code changes relevant to interventional radiology and show you how to apply the new and revised codes.  The session will also include an in-depth discussion of interventional radiology hot topics and problem areas, including revascularization, dialysis access procedures, nonvascular procedures (“specials”), and much more.  Special attention will be given to services that are frequently billed incorrectly or denied by third-party payors. 

This session is suitable for coding and billing professionals working in a radiology practice, imaging center, or hospital outpatient setting.  Each participant will receive a copy of CSI’s Navigator® for Interventional Radiology/Procedures, a comprehensive reference manual on interventional procedure coding.

CEUs:  The following CEUs will be applied for - AAPC, AHIMA, and RCCB.
