Early Registration Ends October 31st, 2012
If you are responsible for managing ICD-10 implementation within your oncology practice or treatment facility, this session is for you. The instructor will lead you through the implementation process step by step, including how to plan for and implement coder training, physician documentation training, conversion of forms and software, and more.
All participants must have a copy of CSI’s ICD-10-CM Toolkit for Oncology, which contains the tools an oncology practice or facility needs for ICD-10-CM implementation, including Powerpoint presentations and handouts for coder and physician training, an ICD-9 to ICD-10 oncology diagnosis crosswalk, sample implementation plan and timeline, physician documentation job aids, coder exercises and assessments, and more. The instructor will show you how to develop your own customized implementation plan and how to use the Toolkit’s components to carry it out, so that your organization can undergo a smooth transition to ICD-10. Participants will also receive supplemental materials developed specifically for this seminar. After completing this seminar, participants will be able to face the ICD-10-CM implementation with confidence.
Note: Tuition for this session does not include the Toolkit. Attendees can purchase the Toolkit through CSI. To recieve the toolkit at a discounted rate of $695, attendees must be registered for the 2013 CROWN ICD-10 Implementation session.
