Lori
Hendrix, CPC, CPC-H is a Consultant with Coding Strategies,
Inc. (CSI) in Atlanta, GA. Her areas of expertise include medical
coding, auditing and education with a specific emphasis in Diagnostic
Radiology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine/Family Practice,
and diagnosis coding for all specialties.
Ms.
Hendrix’s 20-year healthcare career includes coding positions
in both hospital and physician practices. Additionally, she
has direct clinical experience in long term care, rehabilitation,
home health and hospice. She is responsible for updating and
maintaining CSI's Study Guide for Diagnosis Coding and Study
Guide for Evaluation & Management Services.
Lori maintains a professional membership with
the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and holds
the professional certification of Certified Professional Coder
(CPC) and Certified Professional Coder- Hospital (CPC-H). Ms.
Hendrix is the founding President of the Northwest Georgia Chapter
of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Additionally,
Ms. Hendrix was awarded the AAPC’s 2003 Networker of the
Year, during the national annual conference held in Atlanta,
Ga. April, 2004.
