Melody W. Mulaik is the President and Co-Founder of Coding Strategies, Inc. located in Atlanta, GA. She is a frequent speaker and author for nationally recognized professional organizations and publications. Melody's areas of expertise includes coding and compliance, management engineering, and operations improvement and she is nationally recognized for her extensive radiology and ICD-10 implementation expertise.
Melody often speaks at national conferences on many topics including ICD-10 Implementation, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology coding, Internal Audit Program Development, Coding Compliance and other healthcare compliance issues. Recent speaking engagements include the AHRA: The Association for Imaging Management, Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), Healthcare Billing Management Association (HBMA) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Since 2003, Coding Strategies, Inc. has sponsored the AHRA Annual Coding Seminar Series and Melody has spoken at the majority of these sessions. Melody serves as the AHRA liaison to the American College of Radiology (ACR) Economics Commission. She is also the founding Chair of the AHRA Regulatory Affairs Committee.
Melody holds a Master of Science in Health Systems (MSHS) degree and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (BIE) degree, both from the number one nationally ranked Industrial & Systems Engineering School at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), in Atlanta, Georgia. She also holds the professional certification of Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder - Hospital (CPC-H) and Radiology Certified Coder (RCC). Melody was recently awarded Fellow status with the AHRA (FAHRA) for her organizational and industry contributions.
Cindy C. Parman

Cindy C. Parman is the principal and co-founder of Coding Strategies, Inc. Her areas of expertise include physician and hospital medical coding, and multi-specialty coding audits. She is a highly sought after national speaker on a variety of coding and compliance topics including Radiation Oncology Coding, Medical Oncology Coding, Non-physician Practitioners, Internal Auditing, Managed Care Contracting, Data Mining for Correct Coding, Effective Compliance Plans, ICD-10-CM Implementation, Clinical Trial Billing and Medical Necessity.
Her professional career in healthcare includes 20 years of commercial group health insurance experience, where she managed claims processing and customer service, and worked as a healthcare consultant. Cindy was also the former National Director of Coding and Billing Operations for a large national physician practice management organization.
Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wright State University. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), a Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H) and a Radiology Certified Coder (RCC). She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, American Health Information Management Association, the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association, the Association of Community Cancer Centers and the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators.
Vice President of Product Development

As Vice President of Product Development, Jackie Miller is responsible for overseeing the development of our educational products.
Prior to joining Coding Strategies, Inc., Jackie served as a coding consultant, as director of regulatory affairs for a large medical billing company and as a health information manager at several acute care hospitals. She has many years of experience with procedure and diagnosis coding, and she has performed coding audits for hospitals and physicians, designed and administered coding training programs, and developed physician practice compliance plans.
Jackie’s articles on coding and compliance topics have appeared in many publications, including the Journal of AHIMA, HBMA Billing, Radiology Management, and MGMA Connexion. She is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), a Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-Based (CCS-P), and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). She is also an AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM trainer.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Bates College, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also earned a certificate in Health Information Management from Stephens College.
Director of Marketing
Tiffany Rankin is the Director of Marketing at Coding Strategies, Inc., where she is responsible for all corporate marketing initiatives to promote products and services through a variety of industry venues and mediums. In addition to directing marketing programs, she is also responsible for brand management, event logistics as well as ensuring excellent customer service for client and B2B relationships. Prior to accepting the Director position Tiffany demonstrated her excellent organizational and customer service skills as a Coding Strategies Sales Representative and ultimately Marketing Coordinator. Tiffany’s expertise and experience made her a natural fit to lead this critical business unit.
Tiffany’s unique background of experience working for a variety of entities, ranging from not-for-profit organizations to large Fortune 500 companies, affords her the insight to ensure successful messaging, and effective delivery, to ensure Coding Strategies’ clients are aware of, and receive the products and services needed to successfully tackle their challenges. Her input is also sought-after from peers, editors and others in the healthcare industry. She most recently was quoted in For the Record magazine.
Tiffany relocated from her native New York to Georgia after her first post graduate job. She has a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Media Management from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
