Provider Training
Onsite Training
Proper documentation is the key to ICD-10-CM success. CSI's Provider Training designed for physicians, non physician practitioners, and other clinicians and will focus on the medical record documentation required for proper ICD-10-CM code assignment. Courses are designed to take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. Specialty-focused provider training will be available for radiology, oncology and cardiology. Web-based Video
While in person, customized documentation training is recommended, CSI understands this may not be an option for all facilities. Therefore, CSI ICD-10-CM Provider Training will also be available as a virtual seminar. Available for the specialties of Radiology, Oncology and Cardiology, these online videos will be available for download at a time convenient for the provider and are designed to take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.
SWAT (Specialty Specific Workshops and Training)
Onsite Training
SWAT provides those responsible for medical coding with two-days of hands-on training for radiology or oncology. Topics include anatomy and physiology, ICD-10-CM coding fundamentals and ICD-10 code assignment for common specialty services. This is a great add on to onsite Provider Training, ensuring all members are up-to-date and properly trained for ICD-10-CM. Each attendee will receive a special edition of the CSI Navigator for ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Coding, which will include the coding exercises and case studies addressed in the training. Participants must provide their own ICD-10-CM manual.

Web-based Video
If you are unable to have CSI onsite and cannot attend a SWAT Conference, you have the option to participate in the workshop via a virtual seminar. SWAT provides those responsible for medical coding with specialty-specific virtual training. Topics include anatomy and physiology, ICD-10-CM coding fundamentals and ICD-10 code assignment for common specialty services. You will have the option to purchase the corresponding CSI Navigator for ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Coding, which will include the coding exercises and case studies addressed in the training. Participants must provide their own ICD-10-CM manual.

Web-based Video
Can’t have a CSI Consultant on staff? Take part in the Complete ICD-10-CM Training via virtual seminar. The same material will be covered in an online video format. You will have access to a downloadable workbook. Choose the entire training or select courses.
Anatomy & Physiology Online Course
All coders must understand the details of anatomy & physiology in order to successfully transition to ICD-10-CM coding. CSI’s complete A&P online training program covers specific aspects of human anatomy and physiology. The web-based training is designed to be completed in approximately 4 hours, comes with a printable workbook and consists of the following modules/topics:
Module 1: Hematopoietic – types of blood cells; anemia
Module 2: Endocrine – major endocrine glands and their function; diabetes mellitus
Module 3: Nervous System – central nervous system, peripheral nervous system; TIA
Module 4: Eye and Ear – major anatomic features of the eye and ear
Module 5: Cardiovascular – cardiac anatomy; the circulation; acute MI, stroke, and hypertension
Module 6: Respiratory – the respiratory organs; asthma and COPD
Module 7: Digestive – anatomy & function of the gastrointestinal tract
